The process
Blast cleaning is a surface preparation process used to remove rust, paint, corrosion and contamination from metal components. Different blasting methods are used depending on the material, the condition of the part and the finish required. At AL’S Blast & Paint Shop we commonly use both dry blasting and vapour blasting to achieve the most appropriate result for each project.
Choosing the right finish
Different blasting techniques are used depending on the material and finish required. Dry blasting is typically used for stronger surface preparation and coating removal, while vapour blasting is often preferred for delicate or detailed components.
Used where stronger surface preparation is required.
Used where a cleaner and more refined finish is required.
